Fingers Crossed!

Last Tuesday, I sent off a high-level business partnership proposal to a potential international partner. Sounds fancy but I imagine my counterpart is someone like me. Not a large corporation or company but a scrappy individual like me with an idea and motivation but figuring stuff out as he goes. I hope they accept it and we can work something out. It would really be based on mutual trust in each other and alignment of goals. It's hard for me to put myself out there - both personally and professionally - for fear of failure or rejection but its something I need to get over to move forward. I'd like to focus where I think my passions and strengths lie (story telling) and hand off the things that I'm not as passionate about or skilled in (but are still super important) to a partner. It's still a very risky idea in a highly saturated market but something that's been in the back of my mind for the past 3 years. Fingers crossed we can work something out!
